Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of People & Culture at Work ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Su Joun, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

People & Culture at Work provides:

• Just-in-Time Coaching (1:1 sessions)
• Leadership Coaching
• HR Advisory Services
• Culture Transformation Consulting
• Team Workshops
• DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Consulting
• Career Coaching
• Speaking Engagements

Services are provided remotely via video conferencing (primarily Zoom) unless otherwise arranged.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Sessions must be booked in advance through our website, email, or approved scheduling tools. Confirmation will be provided via email. You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time.

4. Payment Terms

• Current pricing: $199.99 per coaching session (subject to change)
• Payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise agreed
• Invoices are sent via FreshBooks or email
• Accepted payment methods: Credit card, ACH transfer, business check
• Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified

5. Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations:

• More than 48 hours notice: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
• 24-48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee or reschedule with $50 fee
• Less than 24 hours notice: No refund; may reschedule at full session price
• No-show: Full session fee charged; rescheduling requires new booking and payment

Our Cancellations: If we need to cancel a session, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer to reschedule at no additional cost or provide a full refund.

6. Refund Policy

• Refunds are provided per the cancellation policy above
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@peopleandcultureatwork.com
• Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
• Multi-session packages: Unused sessions may be refunded on a prorated basis with 30 days notice
• Downloaded digital products (guides, worksheets) are non-refundable

7. Confidentiality

All information shared during coaching sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your written consent, except as required by law. However, coaching relationships do not have the same legal protections as attorney-client or doctor-patient relationships.

• Provide accurate information
• Attend scheduled sessions on time
• Engage respectfully and professionally
• Take responsibility for your own decisions and actions
• Pay for services as agreed

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and materials, is the property of People & Culture at Work and Su Joun. Content may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission. Session materials provided to clients are for personal use only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes from coaching
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the past 30 days
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• You are responsible for decisions and actions taken based on coaching guidance

12. Recording of Sessions

Sessions may be recorded only with mutual written consent. Recordings are for the participants' personal use and may not be shared or distributed without permission.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Refunds for unused services will be provided per the refund policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
